Fam and I stayed at this hotel back in Aug. It is super SUPER clean & nice, and service was nice. But the problem I had was with Alexis during my reserving a room. When I asked her if they give a military discount, for some reason, she snootily responded with, "Well, you have to come with someone who has a military ID." Ummm, a simple, "We sure do!" or "Yes we do, just show an ID upon arrival!" would have been expected, as that's the response I normally get. Because of how Alexis spoke to me, I asked if people try to get a discount without an ID, and she said, "Yes." But regardless, that doesn't give her a reason to speak to ANY customer the way she spoke to me! I called back and talked with Dana, the general manager, I believe, and she was apologetic and very kind! Only thing, she mentioned that Alexis is normally pleasant. Well, that would raise a BIGGER question, in my mind, regarding her behavior.
Friendly staff and great place. Has a pool and bar(only beer or wine). The fitness center is kind of a joke though. Something like 2 bike and a treadmill. Would have been better to put in more washers/dryers as there are only 1 of each and they were constantly being used. The pool and patio are nice except the highway runs behind them and the noise from the vehicles can get annoying. That could be fixed with some planted trees though and isn't all that bad. They have a conference room as well that frequently had some kind of art thing. All things considered it is the best place to stay in Appomattox if you have a little more to spend on a room.
Very nice and very clean hotel. Staff was great and the beds are comfortable. Definitely would recommend.
Nice hotel and good prices. Free hot breakfast and parking. Comfy bed and step in shower. Will stay here again.
Also, though I have Confederate ancestors, the souvenirs and things were a bit much for me..but, overall, our stay was EXCELLENT!
The inn is well equipped with all the necessary item need for a comfortable stay. Centrally located close to stores restaurants and other convenient necessities. A wish choice to stay
